How to protect your privacy on Steam
Steam lets you control, separately, who sees your profile, your friends list, your game details and your inventory -worth reviewing even if you've got nothing to hide.
Where to change it
Steam (client or web) -> your profile -> Edit Profile -> Privacy Settings. Each block is controlled separately: profile, game details, inventory and friends list.
What setting something to private means
If you set "Game details" to private, tools like this one can no longer see your hours played, in-game stats or achievements -not just this app, anyone's. If you set your whole profile to private, your name history, friends and groups won't show either.
Hiding your profile only on this app
If you just want nobody to be able to search you INSIDE Rust Player Tracker while keeping your Steam profile public everywhere else, this app has its own opt-out -see the Plans & billing guide.
Put this into practice
Rust Player Tracker follows players live, flags name changes, and gives you a cheater-risk score before you trust anyone -free to start, no card required.
