FAQ
Which component gives the most scrap in Rust?
Rifle Body (25), then Tech Trash and Electric Fuse (20). For high quality metal, Sheet Metal also gives 100 metal fragments.
Do all recyclers give the same?
No. The yellow one (Outpost and Bandit Camp) returns 40%; the green ones at monuments 50%, or 60% while the Power Plant grid is on; and the red one at the Power Plant 75%.
What does “+1 50%” mean?
Some components give one extra unit with some chance on top of the guaranteed output. The big total is the guaranteed part; below it is the average counting that extra.
