FAQ
How do I open the console in Rust?
Press F1 in game. Paste the command (Ctrl+V) and press Enter.
How do I know a command exists?
Type find and a word (for example find fps): if it isn't listed, it doesn't exist. Plenty of old or made-up commands float around online.
How do I bind a key?
Use bind key action, for example bind q forward;sprint to auto-run. Run writecfg to save it and unbind key to remove it.
Know when they're offline?
